Tigers Re-Sign Justin Verlander on a 1-year 13-million-dollar deal

Tigers president of baseball operations Scott Harris and owner Chris Ilitch made another splash addition to the Tigers pitching staff Tuesday afternoon, signing veteran Justin Verlander to a 1-year deal. JV made 29 starts for the San Francisco Giants in 2025, posting a 3.85 ERA to go along with 137 strikeouts and a 4-11 record. Verlander will be joining a Tigers pitching staff that will feature Tarik Skubal, Framber Valdez, Jack Flaherty and Casey Mize.
